Art exhibitions
Art exhibitions are temporary presentations of paintings, photographs or sculptures from individual artists, groups of artists or of entire periods of art in public museums, halls of art, art societies or private galleries, sometimes also for special events such as anniversaries and jubilees.
Apart from retrospectives, solo and group exhibitions as well as thematic and overview exhibitions are usual forms of art exhibitions. Art exhibitions are generally opened by a vernissage end sometimes finished by a closing event.
